Shipping/Return/Cancellation Policy

By placing an order, you agree to the following shipping, return, and cancellation policies.

Processing Time

Before an order can be shipped, it must first be processed. Processing time is not included in the shipping time. Processing time includes a variety of things - such as documenting the order, creating the purchased items, and securing shipping information. A majority of products here are made-to-order, which means that when you order a shirt, for example, that shirt is printed after the order.

In ideal conditions, items can be processed and shipped off in the same day that they are ordered in. More commonly, items are processed and shipped within a week after they have been ordered. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic however, processing times have become unfortunately extended due to a combination of both personal delays due to lives being turned completely upside-down, as well as many unexpected and unexplained shipping delays, especially internationally. I have had shipping delays cause orders to be held up randomly in the post office for up to 6 weeks. Please order with caution throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

By placing an order, you recognize that all orders are subject to the aforementioned processing time before shipping.

Shipping Time

Your order's shipping time will largely depend on the shipping option you select during checkout.

Processing time is not included in the shipping time estimate.

Domestic (U.S.) shipping is usually handled by USPS, however, other shipping providers may be used in certain circumstances.

International shipping can be difficult to estimate and may take up to four (4) weeks to arrive due to unforeseen customs and shipping delays.

SpaceDogLaika is NOT responsible for packages lost during shipping, packages arriving late due to delays in the shipping service use, packages stolen after being delivered, and packages shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address due to the fault of the customer. Packages that are returned due to an invalid or undeliverable address may be reshipped to another address at the discretion of SpaceDogLaika and with shipping costs repaid by the customer.

Order Cancellation

Because so many of my items are made-to-order, orders cannot be cancelled after they have been printed, with some exceptions. If you need to cancel an order, please let me know as soon as possible. I will always try my best to work with you.

If there have been unforeseen delays in processing time and shipping, I will generally try to be accommodating in order cancellation and refunds.

Incorrect and Damaged Orders

While every item is inspected before it's sent out, rarely errors can slip through unnoticed. In the event of this, I will do everything I can to make it right.

If an order arrives with incorrect items, please email me with an attached photo of the incorrect item(s). If a shirt in the wrong size has arrived, please include a picture of the tag showing the size. 

Damaged or blemished items - such as a shirt with a paint splotch from an unnoticed error in the printing process will also be taken care of similarly. Please send an email with an attached photo of the damaged portion.

Incorrect Address / Address Change

If you have placed an order to be sent to an incorrect address, please let me know as soon as possible. Once it has been given to the post office, and in some cases, once I buy the shipping label, I can't really change the address. The sooner you email me regarding an address change, the more likely I'll be able to change it.

Returns

Because almost every item sold is made-to-order, we cannot accept returns on items unless the incorrect item was sent or the item was damaged. Please read every item's description carefully and examine the pictures provided. If you are not absolutely certain that you want something, don't buy it.

I understand that for every rule, there is probably an exceptional circumstance I haven't considered. I will do everything I can to work with you, so please email me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
